Katie Taylor is an Irish professional boxer and former footballer. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest female boxers of all time.
Amateur career
Taylor began boxing at the age of 11 and quickly rose through the ranks of the amateur boxing world. She won her first Irish National title at the age of 15 and went on to win a record 18 consecutive National titles. She also won five World Championship titles, five European Championship titles, and an Olympic gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Professional career
Taylor made her professional debut in 2016 and has quickly become one of the most dominant boxers in the world. She is the current undisputed lightweight champion and the undisputed super lightweight champion. She has won all 15 of her professional fights, 10 of which have been by knockout.
